On SD 50509.19, the Manticore (under the command of Captain Sovak, as Admiral Atragon-9 was removed from command for striking Consul General Jaffe) went to the Olyoxynfree Sector after hearing that the USS Marco and the USS Polo have both gone missing there. Manticore was then grabbed by an increased gravitational field, to a new area of space. The Marco and Polo were discovered there, empty, powerless and swollen due to a lack of molecular cohesion. The ship was barely able to hold station against the gravitational pull and was starting to show signs of weakened molecular cohesion at the outer hull. Sovak decided to apply forward thrust to hurry the ship to the source. Utilizing fighters to assist with firepower, the source, a mysterious orb at the cnter of the area of disturbed space.
